Training Day Camp

All of the training I offer is positive reinforcement training, done by me, Ashley Mapes ABCDT, certified through Animal Behavior College. I have taught classes and been through an externship at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. I have been studying dog behavior and training since 2005, and training professionally since 2011.

Training Day Camp:

Our Training Day Camp provides the one on one with a trainer experience of boarding and training, only you get to take your pup home each night.

​

Each day you would bring your dog in the morning for drop off. They spend the day in my family home, with other dogs, and cats. This provides them with social interaction, and is perfect for puppy socialization. They are worked with, on the training you have specified, four times a day in fifteen minute training sessions that are geared toward fun learning, making the education almost like a game. Then at the end of the day, you come pick them up and take them home to spend the night in the comfort of your home with you.

  Your dog gets to spend all of his time among our family and pets. Interacting with us all day. They are walked every 3 hours and have play all day with our resident dogs and cats (as well as their 4 training sessions).

   

  • All dogs must go through an assessment evaluation by me in order to qualify for this option, for the safety of all animals involved. The assessment can be as little as a good phone interview, or as much as an in person meet and greet with the trainer.
