Boarding and Training

 

All of the training I offer is positive reinforcement training, done by me, Ashley Mapes ABCDT, certified dog trainer and behaviorist. I have taught classes and been through an externship at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. I have been studying dog behavior and training since 2005, and training professionally since 2011.

 

Open Kennel Board&Train:

Boarding and training is for owners who want quality training directly from the trainer to the dog, one on one. And is great for owners who don't have the time to do the homework every day, all week long due to busy schedules, etc.

 

Focused yet FUN schooling - I do four focused training sessions a day, as well as many mini training sessions. I keep it fun, making the training like a game for the dogs.

 

In my Family home - Our boarding is in home and cage free (only kenneling at night for your dog's safety and comfort). Your dog will have the love and care like he would have at home.

 

We do also do kennel boarding if requested. Your dog would be kenneled in our living room, right there with the family.

• $1200 / 15 days

• $2100 / 30 days

• $4000 / 60 days

• $60 / additional day

  • All dogs must go through an assessment evaluation by me in order to qualify for this option, for the safety of all animals involved.

  • Your dog gets to spend all of his time among our family and pets. Interacting with us all day. They are walked every 3 hours and have play all day with our resident dogs and cats (as well as their 4 training sessions).

I do take aggression cases, contact me for more information. Usually, this will require an assessment of the dog to see what type of aggression it has and if I would feel comfortable working with that dog in my home.
